Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Okay so I got my sims 3 seasons and I'm playing it during my hiatus

Okay so I made Trent and Kuro and they're just their lovey-dovey selves
and then one day Kuro decides to buy a telescope and then he got probed by aliens on his birthday LOL(and Trent was asleep during this)
and then Kuro came back to Earth and he was in shock for about two days
and then Kuro gained weight because of Trent's cooking (which isn't a surprise)
and then on Trent's Birthday, he wanted to spend his day with Kuro and then WooHoo afterwards and then adopt a kid with Kuro
and so they got Davy and Davy was just a baby and it was hell because they could never sleep LOL
and then Kuro's weight gain wasn't because of food, it was because he got pregnant when he got abducted by aliens
and then Kuro didn't want it, so he gave it back to the aliens.

and then I made Peri and Calvie
they're roommates and Peri makes fanfctions while Calvie is a lead guitarist in a band
And since I made Peri flirtatious, he decides to hit on Calvie when he gets the chance
and for some reason Calvie doesn't mind it (EUUUGHHH)
and then earlier they made out on the couch and yep.

Calvie and Peri is my new crack pairing otp

Also Peri met an alien and wanted to have sex with it
it was freaky

also it's really awkward looking at Peri taking a piss standing up because he's so feminine

also status update on me:
Staying home for a week because my medicine needs some taking used to
I threw up last night
and I feel like I'm gonna fall at any moment
My cat's been sleeping with me ever since I got back from the hospital
I'm spending more time with my mother by watching Lunchtime w/ Smosh with her, and she laughs at every moment LOL

also a lesson for you all:
Sleep is a good thing.
And don't think you're the only one who has conditions, there are famous people who might have the same thing as you
and don't take too much medications, because I am really high right now. I mean, there is like, a rock outside that is just telling me to pick it up and I think it's a bird egg, and I really wanna raise it as my own.
